Snoqualmie Pass Engagement Session – Christina and Jared

Christina first contacted us on Instagram after hearing of us through mutual friends. She wanted us to come up to Seattle for a snowy engagement session with her future hubby Jared in December, and we were so down for it. Although they wanted an adventure in the snow with a Snoqualmie Pass engagement session, it was also really important for them to have their fur babies photographed as well, so we decided on splitting locations with some photos at home with their husky and kitties.

After some time spent in their home, we all piled into J’s car and headed out to Snoqualmie Pass for the second portion of their engagement session. The fog over the mountains and the snow slowly drifting down made for a magical drive through the pass as we headed to our location. We quickly realized that we all had a lot in common, so the next hour and a half was filled with great conversation and lots of laughs. Before we knew it, we had arrived to our destination.

We were expecting a longer hike, but the roads weren’t as bad as we thought and we were able to park pretty close to the location. Although it was a bit chilly, the snow fall and fog made for a gorgeous backdrop. We spent a couple of hours taking a ton of pictures, laughing together and enjoying the scenery. We finally headed back to the car after the last little bit of light in the sky faded and we realized our hands were freezing.

We all piled back into the car and headed back towards Seattle. After talking a bit about food, and hearing that we had never tried Korean BBQ before, C+J insisted that we needed to try it. And so the adventure continued on, and Michael and I tried Korean BBQ for the first time. We’re so glad that we had Christina and Jared there with us to show us the best things to order! Although it was quite different to what we were used to (living in Boise Idaho, authentic multicultural dining is hard to come by) we had an amazing experience!

We had a great time talking, laughing, and eating together, and by the time the night came to an end, we knew we had found some great new friends.

Thanks C+J for allowing us to come along on your beautiful snowy adventure!

xx Jackie
