Payette River Family Session – Colleen + Jonathan

In 2019, Colleen and Jonathan hired us for their 10 year anniversary. They decided that they wanted to spend their anniversary celebrating their love, with their friends and loved ones. Everyone was prepared for an intense game of trivia and were expected to be dressed to the nines. It was a night full of friends, cheers, and a copious amount of wine. We were so excited to see them again when they reached back out to us a year later wanting a fun Payette River family session with their adorable daughter, Vivian. 

On a cold Idaho afternoon in November, we decided to travel a little ways out of Boise to find the cutest little picnic beach area off the side of the Payette River for their family session. They were all so elegantly dressed in their winter sweaters and winter boots. Vivian could barely contain her excitement for all the snow. We spent the evening talking books, skipping rocks, and rolling around in the snow. After the shoot, Colleen and Jonathan headed home to enjoy a warm pozole dinner with just themselves and Viv. It was a great way to spend some time capturing their little family and ending an odd year joyfully.
