Wolverine Canyon Engagement Session – Korey + Russell

It was so great finally meeting Korey and Russell in person. We first booked their 2021 wedding in early January of 2020, when we were all so young and so hopeful for the upcoming year. Thankfully when restrictions lifted we were able to meet up for their engagement session. Since they were in Montana, and we were in Boise, we decided to meet somewhere in the middle and headed out for their Wolverine Canyon engagement session in Idaho Falls. At first glance southeast Idaho seems to be mostly desert, but start exploring outside of Idaho Falls and you can find some gorgeous areas close by. We were able to find this cool spot not too far outside of the city that had an interesting foresty canyon vibe. We all headed out to enjoy the summer evening near Wolverine Canyon.

We had such a great time hanging out and exploring the area with Korey and Russell, as well as getting a chance to get to know each other before their Montana wedding next year. We loved to see how in love with each other they are, and hearing about their love story. Korey even snuck in some sneak peaks of her wedding dress to us, and trust us when we say, it is gorgeous! We can’t wait to see Russell’s reaction when he sees her in it next year.

Although there were some kinda sketchy people camping nearby, we still had a great time taking some photos, popping some champagne, and getting to know each other. It was a great evening spent watching the sun set over the hill tops and enjoying the summer night.

Korey and Russell are such troopers for trusting in us and letting us take them out to the middle of nowhere for their Wolverine Canyon engagement session. We can’t wait for their wedding!
