Seattle Family Lifestyle Session

Christina and Jared are two of the best people you could ever meet. We first met them a few years ago for an engagement session. We had spent nearly the whole day together. From capturing them in-home, to traveling through snowy mountains trails, to laughing and talking about our favorite television shows over a delicious dinner together. We just clicked. Jackie and I were even lucky enough to witness their gorgeous wedding day. 

They had eloped in Seattle at the end of 2020 and Jackie and I were more than happy to be there celebrating with them. When the announcement came of Christina’s pregnancy, we were so excited for them. It was such a beautiful thing to know they were expanding their little family by one. Being located in Idaho and them in Washington, it all felt so fast. And just as quickly as the announcement came, in August of 2021, their lives had been changed forever. Their beautiful baby, Sora, was born.

After a few months, we were able to find a day where Jackie and I could fly up there and meet Baby Sora for the first time. We hopped on a flight for their Seattle family lifestyle session and had breakfast on the way. Then we met them at their home, and enjoyed Sora’s bubbly presence. It was wonderful. Their love has always been evident together. And to see them now and what that love has brought to this world was such a sweet feeling. Sora was so calm and quiet. Set to her schedule perfectly. But what struck us the most was just how much love Christina and Jared shared between them and Sora. They have always been loving to each other and to their amazing cats, Milo and Mighty, as well as their dog, Oso. But with baby Sora finally here, it feels like their little family is truly complete.
