The past wedding season had just ended. Spending time and getting to know new people in love, readying themselves to spend the rest of forever together is an unbelievable feeling. But as the year came to a close, we had the chance to fit one more couple session into December. Lucky for us it just happened to be two amazing people who are still as passionate about each other as they were when they met; Lindsay and Reid.
At the top of Lindsay’s wish list for their location was somewhere with snow. Preferably with mountains surrounding them. After finding the perfect place, we packed our bags and headed out for a short drive outside of Boise, meeting them along side the Payette River for their Payette River couple session. Upon arriving, the view was breathtaking. We loved the feeling of the calmness of the water as its slow stream trickled along side the picturesque mountain tops. But what really took our breath away was not the land or the wintry air, but just how loving Lindsay and Reid were.
We spent some time taking pictures with their not-so-camera-loving pup, Zorro. Then we walked down to a clearing where the two could spend some quiet time together. As two people who often spend a lot of time away from each other, Lindsay and Reid radiated a vibe that could only be described as pure love. Only getting weeks at a time, it was clear they had a connection only they could understand. They laughed, played in the snow, and froze their fingers off. But, most notably, they seemed to cherish every minute together. We had a remarkable time with Lindsay and Reid and I can’t think of a better way to close out the year than capturing them and their unwavering devotion.
xx Michael
