Kathryn Albertson Park Engagement Session

Jackie and I had first met Adeena years ago. Her family had booked a session in the fall of 2017. Although we didn’t speak much, we did get a chance to follow her on Instagram afterwards. Over the course of the past five years, Jackie and I got to see all the small little life updates Adeena had posted. Needless to say we were happy to see both Adeena and Jess enter each other’s lives. As the months passed and the post count continued to grow, we finally learned of their full commitment to spend the rest of their lives together. 

After scheduling their engagement session, and spending some time looking for a location, we had decided that a Kathryn Albertson Park engagement session would be perfect for them. They had contacted us with fall colors in mind, and what better place to show off some beautiful fall colors than here in Boise? Generally the fall colors in Boise tend to peak in October. We had had a warmer fall than usual, so luckily we were able to push into early November with no issues.

Adeena + Jess had never taken couple pictures together other than the occasional selfie. At first, you could see that they were a bit nervous, but that didn’t matter. Their love for each other outshined any bit of anxiety they may have had. Our goal is always to make each couple feel as relaxed and natural as possible. To grasp the moment together regardless of surroundings or environment. We’d like to believe that by the end, they felt comfortable and excited to see how everything turned out, and that we were able to capture their relationship as they were. Two people in the presence of one another. Spending each day together getting closer and closer to forever.
